This Gary Roger Baird Design utilizes the natural elevation changes and slopes to define a course that will challenge golfers of all abilities. Five tee boxes are provided that allow this course to be played from as long as 7088 yards to as short as 5296 yards. Just a friendly piece of advice, unless you're a scratch golfer don't even attempt the Black Tees.
The overall course conditions are awesome as well. Although Barona Creek Golf Club is a new course the turf is already very dense and the coverage is perfect. Thanks to the latest in sod technology this course plays like it has already fully matured. The fairways are generally wide with subtle undulations and slopes. The greens are spacious with moderate undulations making for some very interesting putts. The greens are also firm and very fast so your approach shots are extremely important. Accuracy is the key in to these greens; miss and you'll likely find one of the approximately 100 Augusta White sand bunkers.
