Course Description:
Friar's Head Golf Club was designed by Bill Coore & Ben Crenshaw and opened in 2003. The course is wonderfully routed in and out of massive wooded sand dunes and more open windswept terrain that was once a potato farm.

The dune holes are found at holes 1, 8-10, and 14-18, and feature sand dunes as high as 60 feet covered with natural vegetation. The farmland holes are more subtle in their undulation and character, and are reminiscent of British links-style courses. The greens range in size from 3300 to 18000 square feet, with a trmendous variety of large and small rolls in them. There are no tee markers or yardages at Friar's Head, restoring the challenge of judging distances by the eye.
