Course Description:
The course, designed by Tom Doak, takes its inspiration from the form and nature of the land. The beauty of the routing is how it fits the site. From the beginning it seemed a perfect match and as the course has grown and developed it's hard to imagine there was ever anything else here, except golf.

You are standing at the black tees on number eight at the tail-end of a breezy summer day. Your shadow stretches out in front you, over the teeing ground, and down across a stand of dune grass until it just touches the edge of the water you'll need to carry to reach the fairway on this number-one handicap par five.
To your left is the clubhouse. A cedar, stone and glass structure that sits invitingly atop a rise, overlooking the course.
To your right you can see across numbers ten, eleven and twelve. A five and two fours, surrounded by tall bluffs of sand and more dune-grass. The green at eleven is elevated and tucked in a clearing of trees. It's guarded on the front right by a huge chasm of a bunker. Another seventy feet above is the twelfth tee. From this, the highest point on the course, you'll find a spectacular view of the challenge ahead.
