Golf Hotel Service is your premier hotel reservation service for hotels near golf courses.

For 8 years, we have been the leading provider of reservations for Golf courses around the world. We offer a Golf hotel directory with a complete list sorted by distance from the course. Each listing offers information such as a general property description, amenities and services, number of rooms, prices, special deals and contact information. The Golf Hotel room search allows you to check for hotels that have availability for your selected dates. You can narrow your search by choosing desired amenities and services. All of our hotels have been inspected and approved by AAA and the Mobil Travel Guide, the authorities in hotel and restaurant inspection.

This facility, which was named to "GOLF Magazine's" 1998 list of "Gold Medal Resorts," features three eighteen hole courses that were built by well-known designers. The East and West courses are near the resort and are similar in design. Both of these courses are fairly open, with large trees that can alter your shots, and putting greens that can be difficult to read. The original Donald Ross design was split up among the East and West courses. Jack Nicklaus clinched the 1959 U.S. Amateur on hole #18, which is now #15 on the East Course. Annika Sorenstam won the 1995 U.S. Open on the East Course. "Golf Digest" rated the East Course 2nd and the West Course 6th among the "Best Public Course's" in the state for 1996. In addition, "GOLF Magazine" rated the East Course 67th best under the 1998 category of the "Top 100 Courses You Can Play in the U.S." "Golf for Women" rated the same course 5th best of "America's Best Women-Friendly Courses." In 1992, "Golf Digest" ranked it 29th among the "Top Resort Courses," and awarded it 58th in the category of the "Top 75 Upscale Courses." The same publication rated the East Course as the 10th "Best in State" course for 1995-96, and 15th best for 1997-98. The West Course was awarded 58th place among the "Top 75 Resort Courses" for 1992, and it was rated as the 16th "Best in State" course for 1995-96. Probably the greatest challenge of all three courses is the putting. The subtle breaks never seem to go the way you think. What you have to remember is that all your putts break away from the mountains. The South Course was built in the foothills and is a bit more difficult due to its narrow fairways and the natural terrain that becomes part of the hazards you encounter. Again, the putting is difficult. "Golf Digest" rated this as the 19th "Best in State" course for 1995. The East and West courses may only be played by club members and guests of the resort. The Mountain Course has limited open play.
