Golf Hotel Service is your premier hotel reservation service for hotels near golf courses.

For 8 years, we have been the leading provider of reservations for Golf courses around the world. We offer a Golf hotel directory with a complete list sorted by distance from the course. Each listing offers information such as a general property description, amenities and services, number of rooms, prices, special deals and contact information. The Golf Hotel room search allows you to check for hotels that have availability for your selected dates. You can narrow your search by choosing desired amenities and services. All of our hotels have been inspected and approved by AAA and the Mobil Travel Guide, the authorities in hotel and restaurant inspection.

This narrow course's five finishing holes are known as "murderers' row." The club hosted the PGA Championship in 1993 as well as many other years, and the 1920, 1931, 1957, and 1979 U.S. Opens were held here. "Golf Digest" rated this course 35th best out of "America's 100 Greatest Courses" for 1995-96, and 33rd best for 1997-98. It was also rated as the 3rd "Best in State" course for 1995-96, and the 4th best in 1997-98. In addition, "GOLF Magazine" awarded it 31st among the "Top 100 Courses in the U.S." for 1995, 32nd in 1997 and 39th in 1999. "GOLFWEEK" ranked it 28th among "America's 100 Best Classical Courses" for 1997, 26th for 1998 and 44th for 1999. Byron Nelson, who holds the record of eleven consecutive PGA Tournament wins, served as the golf professional at this club.
