Golf Hotel Service is your premier hotel reservation service for hotels near golf courses.
For 8 years, we have been the leading provider of reservations for Golf courses around the world. We offer a Golf hotel directory with a complete list sorted by distance from the course. Each listing offers information such as a general property description, amenities and services, number of rooms, prices, special deals and contact information. The Golf Hotel room search allows you to check for hotels that have availability for your selected dates. You can narrow your search by choosing desired amenities and services. All of our hotels have been inspected and approved by AAA and the Mobil Travel Guide, the authorities in hotel and restaurant inspection.

This club, which has been established as a National Historic Landmark, is famous for hosting many national championships, including the National Amateur, the PGA Championship, and seven U.S. Opens. Oakmont gained additional notoriety for its "furrowed" bunkers during the 1973 U.S. Open. Johnny Miller established the U.S. Open eighteen hole record with a 63 in the final round in 1973, regarded by some as the finest round of golf ever played. Hole #1 was voted the tour's most difficult hole by PGA of America. "GOLF Magazine" ranked this course several times in the category of the "Top 100 Courses in the U.S." and "GOLFWEEK" ranked it among "America's 100 Best Classical Courses." A program to clear out trees was completed in 1999 with the eviction of a couple of hundred hardwoods in order to restore a grand old design to the open-spaced terrain that existed when the course was built in 1903. Even though carts are available, the club personnel would prefer you to walk the course.
